And that’s often what happens when people put off booking their headshots or portraits. It’s not really about finding the right time, losing a few pounds, or waiting for the perfect outfit. It’s about how we feel about being seen. For many professionals, standing in front of a camera brings up insecurities, about appearance, age, confidence, or even self-worth. The idea of being photographed can expose parts of ourselves we’d rather hide. But here’s the truth: once you face that discomfort, something powerful happens. You begin to see yourself differently, with kindness, confidence, and acceptance.
